Stewards of the land

Zenger Farm is located on 16 acres owned by the City of Portland Bureau of Environmental Services. The farm consists of 6 acres of farmland and facility space and 10 acres of protected wetlands. The wetlands at Zenger are an important part of the Johnson Creek Watershed. By having the wetlands attached to the farmland, Zenger has a unique opportunity to educate kids and the community about the importance of sustainable farming practices and how these practices impact with the wetlands.
