Zenger Farm's Furey Field

 

Food for the Neighborhood

 

Zenger Farm's expansion onto the Furey Field will allow increased food security and educational opportunities for households in the surrounding Lents and Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhoods.

 

The additional field space at Furey Field has made it possible to launch Zenger Farm Shares, one of the first Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Programs in the state to accept food stamps. Find out more about Zenger Farm Shares.

 

 

Community Gardens

 

Also at the Furey Field, Zenger Farm has partnered with Portland Parks and Recreation to provide the surrounding neighborhoods with much-needed community garden plots. Plots are still available. Request a plot at the Furey Garden today! Contact the Community Gardens at (503)823-1612 or fill out the Community Garden Plot Request Form.  

 

Zenger Farm Furey Field is located on SE Reedway between SE 117th and SE 119th.
